HOW IT HAPPENED
-It seemed like a repeat from last Friday's contest, as the Lynx raced out to a 21-3 lead late in the opening quarter, outscoring the Tigers 14-0 in a seven-plus minute span. The streak ended on a Kinsley Logan triple as the clock was dwindling down the final seconds.

-The Tigers bounced back with a strong second quarter, knocking down 7-of-12 from the field. However, it was the home team that held a 45-27 lead at the intermission.

-Sewanee stayed with Rhodes for most of the third quarter, but the Lynx pulled away with a 31-14 fourth quarter.

-The Lynx, who entered the weekend sixth in all of NCAA Division III in 3-point field goals made and eighth in percentage, drained 12-of-23 (52.2%) from downtown and a 53.6% mark from the floor for the contest (30-of-56).

SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Kinsley Logan led the Tigers with 16 points and two steals.

-Ellie Treanton added 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.

RHODES KEY STATISTICS
-Alli Mayeux led the hosts in Rhodes with 26 points thanks to an 8-of-12 performance from the field, 7-of-10 from downtown.

-Caroline Taylor also contributed 17 points.
