BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's basketball improved to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in Southern Athletic Association play with its 52-46 win over Centre College Friday night in Bill Battle Coliseum. The Panthers remained undefeated at home with the win.
Misa Fujii (Sunnyvale, Calif./Notre Dame HS) led the team with 18 points. Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) also hit double-figures with 15 points of her own, respectively. She and Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) earned a game-high eight rebounds.
BSC continues conference play at home this Sunday. They welcome Sewanee to the Hilltop in a doubleheader with the men's team. The women tipoff at 1 p.m.
