GENESEO, N.Y.—Geneseo dominated the first half and coasted to an 84-66 victory over visiting Buffalo State this evening in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) paced Buffalo State with 15 points to go with nine rebounds.
- Grace Licata (Williamsville/Williamsville South) netted 12 points, going 4 of 10 from 3-point range.
- Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) scored 13 points, all in the second half, and added 12 rebounds and eight assists.
- Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) chipped in 10 points.
- Geneseo raced out to a 10-2 lead early and never looked back.
- The Knights led 44-18 at halftime with just three Bengals scoring in the opening 20 minutes.
- Buffalo State outscored Geneseo 48-40 in the second half, but was never able to mount a comeback threat.
- The Knights hit 13 3-pointers, compared to eight by the Bengals, and held 44-35 rebounding advantage.
FOR THE FOES
- Lindsay Halpin and Sara Ciotti led Geneseo with 16 points apiece, while Halpin also had 10 assists.
- McKenna Brooks added 14 points.
