Arika Tolbert didn't miss in the fourth quarter for the fifth-ranked Hope College women's basketball team. Francesca Buchanan and Olivia Voskuil barely did.

A near-flawless shooting performance down the stretch propelled the Flying Dutch to a 64-46 win at an eight-win Oglethorpe University on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia.

Shooting 77.8 percent from the field, including 100 percent from 3-point range during the fourth quarter, Hope outscored the Stormy Petrels 19-7 to secure a successful rebound from the first loss of the season.

Hope improved to 8-1 overall by adjusting to Oglethorpe's defensive changes, head coach Morehouse said.

"In the first half, they went zone, we attacked it well. When they went back to man-to-man, we kept standing," Morehouse said after his team's team successful start to Oglethorpe's Quality Suites Holiday Classic. "In the second half, when they went to zone, we moved the ball really well and that led us to executing a whole lot better on offense."

The Flying Dutch took only nine shots from the field during the quarter and made seven of them.

Tolbert scored a season-high eight points — all during the fourth quarter. The junior guard from Lathrup Village, Michigan (Detroit Country Day HS) sank all three of her field-goal attempts, including two 3-pointers.

Buchanan netted six of her game-high 19 points and totaled two of her game-high four assists during the final 10 minutes. The senior forward from Grant, Michigan (Sparta) recorded a fourth-quarter shooting percentage of 75 percent (3-4 from the field).

Voskuil chipped in a 3-pointer and two free throw makes down the stretch. The sophomore from Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) finished with 10 points that was just one off of her season-high.
