The LaGrange women's basketball team is hosting the USA South/Southern Athletic Association Classic on Saturday and Sunday in Mariotti Gym. Berry College, Oglethorpe University, and Piedmont College join LC to make up tournament field.

The Panthers (3-1) went 2-1 in their own LaGrange College Classic last week. Senior Marilauren Farraveraged 16.3 points and 10 rebounds in the three games and was named the USA South Player of the Week. Piedmont (4-1) is the defending USA South Tournament champion. Oglethorpe (4-1) won the SAA conference championship last season. Berry is 2-1 on the season.
