KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Keuka College junior Reighly Melochick (Minersville, Pa. / Minersville Area) set the single-game record with nine three-pointers in the Wolves' 73-48 victory over Morrisville State in the quarterfinals of the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.

Melochick broke the previous record of eight threes that she set earlier in the season. The junior led Keuka College (19-5, 13-3 NEAC) with 31 points. Guard Sam Laranjo (Averill Park, N.Y. / Averill Park) tied her career-high with 10 assists. Jariah Johnson (New York, N.Y. / Frederick Douglas Academy) added 10 points in the Keuka College victory.

Keuka College 73 vs. Morrisville State 48 – NEAC Quarterfinals

Keuka College took an early lead on Tuesday in front of an excited playoff crowd at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center. Reighly Melochick knocked in a three halfway through the first to give the Wolves a 9-4 lead. The Wolves would push their lead out to 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.

The Wolves quickly increased their lead to 21-10 in the opening minutes of the second, forcing Morrisville State to take a timeout. Melochick's fourth three of the game gave the Wolves a 33-17 lead with minutes left in the half. Keuka College held a 38-21 lead at the half.

The Wolves continued to run in the third quarter. Keuka College used tough defense and a quick transition game for easy baskets as they continued to widen the margin. Keuka outscored Morrisville 19-9 in the quarter and led 57-30 going into the fourth.

Reighly Melochick closed out the stellar shooting night by going a perfect 3-3 from deep in the fourth to break the single-game record. Keuka College continued onto the 73-48 victory.

Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves advance to the NEAC Final Four for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Keuka College will await the announcement of the tournament site and schedule coming later on Tuesday night.
