WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Bryn Athyn College women's basketball team ended its North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road contest at Penn College by outscoring the host Wildcats 16-3 over the final seven minutes to pick up a 66-56 victory Saturday afternoon.

With the Lions (6-15, 3-9 NEAC) trailing 53-50, Myah Phillips—who finished with eight points—started the game-changing run with a 3-pointer to knot the score at 53. Allie Warren, Bryn Athyn's leading scorer with 18 points, gave the Lions a 55-53 lead with the put-back of a Phillips miss on the Lions' next possession.

Clayshonia Cogmon finished off a 15-point, 10-rebound afternoon with a fast-break layup with 2:38 left to cap a 12-0 run and give Bryn Athyn—who snapped a five-game losing streak—a game-high 65-53 advantage. The Lions shot 6-of-8 from the field during the run, while the Wildcats (2-16, 1-9 NEAC) were 0-for-4 and committed five turnovers. Warren led the surge with six points and Sha'Vion Woodland added four of her 13 points.

Zeniyah Sanders contributed 10 points—giving the Lions four starters that scored in double figures—eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.

After falling behind 14-11 after the first quarter, the game shifted into Bryn Athyn's favor in the second quarter as the Lions outscored the Wildcats 20-6 over the first 6:15 to take a 31-20 lead on a Sanders jumper. The Lions made eight of their 16 shot attempts during the surge, which was led by eight Sanders points, while the Wildcats were 2-for-7 and committed four turnovers.

Penn College scored the final five points of the half to trim the Bryn Athyn advantage to 35-29 at the break.

The Lions reclaimed an eight-point advantage when Phillips knocked down a 3-pointer at the 5:27 mark to make the score 44-36. With the Lion lead sitting at 48-40 after a Phillips layup with 1:55 left in the quarter, the Wildcats ended the quarter on a 5-0 run to cut the gap to 48-45.

Penn College briefly went back in front when Tori Wolfe—the Wildcats' leading scorer with a game-high 20 points—converted a three-point play with 2:51 gone in the fourth to break a 50-all tie.

Ericka Lepley added 17 points for Penn College.

Bryn Athyn shot 35.1 percent (26-of-74) from the field and 68.8 percent (11-of-16) from the free throw line. Penn College made 39.7 percent (23-of-58) of its shots and just 30.8 percent (4-of-13) of its free throws. The Lions won the rebounding battle 45-34.

Bryn Athyn remains on the road to face Keuka College in a NEAC contest on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m.
