Brian Morehouse is thrilled watching his Hope College women's basketball players joyfully prioritize giving to each other on the court. The nationally ranked Flying Dutch displayed their unselfishness again Friday as all 15 Flying Dutch scored in an 89-38 victory against Finlandia at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Hope, ranked No. 4 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll and No. 7 by D3hoops.com, improved to 8-0 overall.

Junior forward Francesca Buchanan of Grant, Michigan (Sparta HS) and freshman guard Kenedy Schoonveld of Zeeland, Michigan (Holland Christian), netted a game-high 16 and 11 points, respectively, for the Flying Dutch.

Hope's Post-Exam Jam finale Saturday at 3 p.m. was canceled because of a scheduling error. The game against Rochester College will not be made up.

Wheaton (5-3) will face Finlandia (1-10) in Saturday's 1 p.m. tournament finale.

Against Finlandia (1-10), the Flying Dutch matched their season-high with 19 assists.

Sophomore guard Celina King of Cincinnati, Ohio (Mount Notre Dame) recorded a game-high four assists.

Senior guard Madison Geers of Scottville, Michigan (Mason County Central) and sophomore guard Arika Tolbert of Lathrup Village, Michigan (Detroit Country Day) each were credited with three assists.

Hope's next game is Tuesday, December 19 in Orlando, Florida at the RDV Sportsplex Tournament against Baldwin-Wallace, Ohio.
