SCIAC Release

Lewis joins Stephanie Wong '16 as the only two-time honoree in program history after receiving the same recognition alongside Wong as a sophomore in 2014-15.  She earned three SCIAC Athlete of the Week awards over her career and is one of only two players who is a member of both the 1,000-point and 500-rebound clubs.  She led the 2016-17 squad in scoring (13.4) and rebounding (8.9) and ends her career tied for the program's most wins in SCIAC play (four).

Peng is the first Beaver to earn Newcomer of the Year honors after a rookie season that saw her lead all conference freshmen in scoring (12.6) and averaged 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc.  She led the team in minutes per game (38.8) and was one of only two Beavers to start all 25 as the team posted its most wins in a season since 2009-10.
