No. 5-ranked St. Thomas (8-0) shot 55 percent from the floor, including 12-of-26 from 3-point range, in Monday night's 81-45 women's basketball victory over UW-La Crosse (5-3) at UST's Schoenecker Arena.

Senior guard Gabby Zehrer had 21 points and four assists and Kaitlin Langer added 14 points and nine rebounds for UST, which has won 20 consecutive regular-season games.

St. Thomas raced to leads of 15-2, 25-5 and 34-7. The Toms outrebounded the Eagles 43-29 and got points from 11 different players, including seven with at least one 3-point basket.

The Tommies, who have held six of their eight opponents under 46 points, helped pressure La Crosse into 23 percent shooting from the floor, including just 16 percent in the first three quarters.
