From there each team would net 4 points each to see the Rosemont close out the quarter up 13-12.
In quarter two, the Ravens opened their lead to seven points at 29-22 after a layup from Ke'alohilani Naone-Carter with 3:19 to go. The Nittany Lions once again did not end the quarter quietly as they finished on a 8-0 run to lead 30-29 at half.
For the first 4:02 of quarter number three neither team could assert dominance as the game continued to go back and forth. Then a basket from Xiomara Colon put the Ravens up 40-39, and sparked the team to a 11-5 run culminating with a Parker three to give Rosemont their largest lead of the quarter at 49-44. Penn State used another late spark to finish on a 6-2 run to go to the fourth still down only one at 51-50.
In the last stanza, the Ravens seemed poised to put the game away as they came out on a 7-2 run ending on a layup by Leilani Naone-Carter making the score 58-52 Rosemont with 8:11 to go.
