The Bears took an early 12-7 lead over the Blue Devils, but Fredonia bounced back with a 19-0 run and took the lead that would never be relinquished. The Blue Devils scored the most points of the game during the first quarter with 26, but the Bears' offense answered with 20 in the second. After five straight points from Fredonia to open the quarter, senior guard Abbey LaPage (North Bangor, N.Y./Franklin Academy) hit from behind the arch to ignite a Potsdam 12-7 run that was capped with another 3-pointer from freshman guard Drew Dufrane (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool). Driscoll went 4-for-5 from the field with 10 of her 15 points and the Bears shot 47-percent from the floor. The Blue Devils took the 43-32 lead into the half.

Fredonia's offense took over in the third, while the Bears' struggled to find a rhythm on the hardwood. Alisha Szumigala scored six points off the bench for the Blue Devils. Potsdam battled in the fourth, but Fredonia answered once more with 19 points to the Bears' 16 to close out the 86-55 win.

Dufrane finished with 11 points and junior forward Emily Drake (Athens, N.Y./Coxsackie-Athens) tacked on eight points and grabbed four rebounds. Sophomore guard Janay Smith (Bronx, N.Y./Wings Academy) had three steals, four points and five boards.

Jenna Einink led the Blue Devils with a game-high 17 points and had a team-high seven rebounds followed by three assists, three blocks and four steals. Alexis Cheatham and Sarah Sweazy each scored 11 points, while Jacque Law and Szumigala both had 10. Law also nabbed seven boards.
