Springfield, Ohio - Host Wittenberg scored the game's first five points, but DePauw scored the next 15 and held the lead on the way to a 50-40 North Coast Athletic Conference road win. DePauw improved to 17-6 overall and 11-3 in the NCAC, while Wittenberg dropped to 6-14 overall and 5-8 in league play.

Wittenberg grabbed a 5-0 lead before Claire Ryan's jumper with 5:09 left in the first put DePauw on the board andEmily Budde's 3-pointer knotted the score. Budde added two free throws and Colleen Connors hit a 3-pointer to give the Tigers a 10-5 lead after the first quarter.

Taylor Howard's layup and Maya Howard's 3-pointer extended DePauw's lead to 15-5 in the opening minute of the second quarter. DePauw still held a nine-point lead late in the half before Wittenberg scored the final six points to trim the Tigers' lead to 26-23 at the intermission.

Budde opened the third with a jumper before Ryan followed with a layup and two free throws to push the DePauw lead to 32-23. DePauw closed the quarter with a 9-2 run to take a 43-29 lead as the teams headed to the final stanza. Wittenberg got no closer than eight in the final period.

Ryan paced DePauw with 12 points, while Budde added 11 and Connors 10. Taylor Howard grabbed a game-high nine rebounds with Ryan and Jenna Stoner each recording three steals.

Michelle Brunswick was Wittenberg's lone double-figure scorer with 10, while Brunswick, Haley Dannemiller and Ali Miller led with four rebounds apiece. Becca Ziska led with four assists with Brunswick totaling five steals.

DePauw shot just 32.1 percent from the floor, but hit 4-of-8 3-pointers, while Wittenberg shot 35.4 percent from the field. The visiting Tigers also held a 41-30 rebounding edge and committed 19 turnovers to Wittenberg's 22.
