The BaruchCcollege Bearcats lost a CUNYAC contest, 78-52, to the Lightning of Lehman College on Friday night in the Bronx, New York.

The Lightning outscored the Bearcats, 17-8, during the second period for a halftime lead of 28-23. They started the second half by scoring nine of the first eleven points to pull away.

Veronica Ganziled the visiting Bearcats with 25 points and eight rebounds. Jaclyn Thammakhounehad a career-night with a near double-double of 12 points and nine rebounds.

Lauren Smithhad her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Amely Del Rosario led five players in double-figures for the home team with 25 points, nine rebounds, six assists and six steals.

Baruch will return home on Tuesday, February 9, with a 5:30 p.m. CUNYAC home contest on Think Pink Night against CCNY.
