Junior center Kaitlin Langer collected 20 points and 10 rebounds and the visiting Tommies converted 52 percent from the floor in Wednesday night's 75-67 MIAC women's basketball victory at Gustavus.
Sophomore Lauren Fischer had a career-high 18 points and Katie Stone added 18 for No. 11-ranked UST, which ran its winning streak to seven. St. Thomas had a 69-44 edge in starters' scoring.
The Gusties pulled within 61-60 with 3:25 to play, but UST came back with a 12-2 run to ice the victory.
The Tommies (17-3 overall, 11-2 MIAC) stay in a share of the conference lead with St. Mary's, one game ahead of third-place Concordia-Moorhead, with five games to play in the regular season.
