How It Happened
- The Ravens would open up a 20-4 lead with just over seven minutes played to grab control of the game. The Falcons would chip away at the lead, getting the difference down to 11 points (21-10) to end the quarter.
- Rosemont would put together streaks of four points, seven points, and six points to blow the game open, outscoring Cedar Crest 23-7 in the second frame to grab a 44-17 lead going into the half.
- Rosemont would continue to distance themselves from the Falcons in the third stanza, opening up with a six-point run to take a 30-point lead (50-20) after a layup from Leilani Naone-Carter with 8:22 left in the quarter. Still with a 30-point advantage, Rosemont would outscore Cedar Crest 15-0, punctuated with a three-point bucket from Ayanna Thompson with 0:56 left in the quarter to give Rosemont a 70-25 lead. The quarter would end with Rosemont on top, 70-28. The Ravens dominated the Falcons in the quarter, winning by a count of 26-11.
- In the final quarter, Cedar Crest would put together their best execution of the night, a 7-0 run to chop Rosemont's 48-point lead back down to 41 points with 4:15 remaining. Up by 42, the Ravens would return the favor by ending the game with a 7-0 run of their own, as the Ravens scored Cedar Crest 16-9 in the final quarter.
Ravens' Top Performers
- The Ravens placed five players in double-figures, led by Brianna Macauley, who had a memorable afternoon by shooting a perfect 7-for-7 from the field and 7-for-7 from the charity stripe to account for her 21 points scored. She also grabbed nine rebounds to just miss a double-double.
- Nadirah Anderson notched her second double-double of the season, scoring 14 points with 11 rebounds.
- Leilani Naone-Carter had a strong game from the field, shooting 7-for-9 (14 points.
- Carly Hislop scored 12 with nine rebounds, while teammate Ayanna Thompson scored 10, accounting for Rosemont's two three-balls in the game.
For the Falcons
- Rianna Kinard scored 14 points while Taylor Osley scored nine to lead Cedar Crest.
Stats of the Game
- The Ravens dominated Cedar Crest across the stat sheet, outshooting the Falcons from the field, 45.9% to 21.3%, and from the line, 84.2% to 42.1%.
