UTICA, NY—Freshman Chanice Battle (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) scored 18 points to lead the Saxons in a 75-59 loss against Utica College on Saturday afternoon.
 
Battle also dished out four assists in the matchup.  Junior Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) scored 16 points and collected eight rebounds.
 
The Pioneers were led by Ashley Mayo with 19 points and eight rebounds. Ashelynn Babb scored 17 points, accumulated eight rebounds and dished out eight dimes.
 
The Pioneers shot 29-of-79 (36.7%) from the field while the Saxons hit 20-of-60 (40%) of their shots. AU also hit 50% of their three-point shooting.
 
AU (1-18, E8 0-10) is off until next Friday when they take on the Hartwick Hawks at home at 8PM.
