Off shoots perfect from charity stripe in loss to Fisher

ALFRED, NY—The Alfred University women's basketball team fell to St. John Fisher College in Empire 8 play at home Wednesday evening, 73-50.
 
Junior Amanda Off (New Berlin, NY/Unadilla Valley) set the standard for the Saxons with 18 points and five rebounds. She shot a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line in the game. Sophomore Taylor Kelley (Andover, NY/Andover) paced the Saxons on the board with 10 rebounds.
 
The Cardinals were led by Bridget Carney with 24 points, shooting 8-of-9 from the charity stripe. Carney also posted seven boards to lead SJFC.
 
The Saxons (1-17, E8 0-9) travel to Utica College on Saturday to take on the Pioneers at 4PM.
