Senior guard Katie Stone scored seven of her 10 points in a game-closing 8-2 run over the final 4:15 as No. 14-ranked St. Thomas scored a 60-54 victory over host St. Olaf in MIAC women's basketball play Wednesday night in Northfield.

UST junior center Kaitlin Langer had 25 points and 13 boards for her eighth double double of the season.

The Tommies (13-3 overall, 7-2 MIAC) trail St. Mary's by one game at the halfway point of the 18-game conference race, one game ahead of Bethel, St. Ben's, Concordia and Gustavus (6-3 each).

The Toms erased an eight-point St. Olaf lead late in quarter three.

Makenna Ash scored 16 off the bench for the Oles (10-6, 5-4).
