GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Gwynedd Mercy notched its fifth win in a row with an 80-34 Colonial States Athletic Conference win over Cedar Crest Wednesday night at The Griffin Complex.
Charlotte Kucowski led a balanced scoring attack with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds. The junior would go 7-for-10 from the floor including a perfect 4-for-4 from downtown. The team would hit for 11 three-pointers, tying a season high.
Tenille Stewart scored 16 points for the Falcons (0-16, 0-8 CSAC).
The Griffins came out of the gates on fire, shooting 60% in the first quarter along with seven treys to lead 32-10 after one. GMercyU would stretch the lead to 43-16 at halftime.
Senior Olivia Bradford added nine points, five rebounds, and three steals. Julianna Hoisington and Bridget Watson sank two three-pointers apiece as every Griffin player registered a point in the win.
Prior to the game, head coach Keith Mondillo was presented a memorial plaque commemorating his 400th coaching win which took place on December 29th in a victory over King's.
Gwynedd Mercy resumes action on Saturday when they head to Immaculata in CSAC action starting at 1 p.m.
