The Baruch College Bearcats fell to No. 2 ranked Amherst College on Tuesday evening in the ARC Arena, 85-34.
All but one of the visiting Lord Jeff's (13-0) scored in their winning effort. Five posted double-figures in points, led by Marley Giddin's 20. Every player played at least 16 minutes.
Veronica Ganziwas Baruch's leading scorer with 17 points to go along with five rebounds. Jacqueline Kennedypoured in 10 points that was part of a well-rounded line, which included four boards, three assists, three steals and a block. Lauren Smithand Shannon Barretteach made their ARC Arena debut tonight, playing 23 and 27 minutes respectively
The Bearcats will be back in action on Wednesday, January 13, when they square off against the Lightning of Lehman College in the ARC Arena at 5:30 p.m. for a CUNYAC showdown.
