Lehman College's Karrin Walker has been named the CUNYAC/Army ROTC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending January 11th.

Walker had a dominating week for the Lightning, leading Lehman to two wins. First, the senior scored 19 points and pulled down a season high 17 rebounds in a 74-73 victory at home against the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday night.  Then on Saturday, playing at the College of Staten Island in a critical conference matchup, Walker scored a season-high 21 points with 11 rebounds as Lehman fought to a 76-69 win.

For the week, Walker averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds, shooting 48 percent from the floor.  In just four games this season, Walker is averaging a double-double, leading the team in rebounding.

Lehman will be back on the court on Wednesday when they travel to Baruch College to face the Bearcats in a 5:30 p.m. game.
