LEICESTER, Mass. – The Newbury College women's basketball team improved to 2-1 in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action with a 58-47 road victory over Becker College, Saturday afternoon. Senior guard Katelyn Roeser (Nashua, N.H.) paced the Nighthawk offense dishing out nine assists including connecting with first year guard Tina Babcock (Ayer, Mass.) for a jumper to swing momentum at the end of the first quarter.
