AURORA, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's basketball team claimed a fourth straight victory by besting Aurora University 65-47 on the road Saturday in conference action.

"Overall a great team victory today keyed by our depth and rebounding," first year head coach Charlie Averkamp said. "Our posts made plays inside when Aurora would make a run. We didn't shoot the ball well, but getting second shots allowed us to put points on the board."

STAT LEADERS
The inside game again set the tone as Benedictine scored 46 points in the paint compared to just eight for Aurora
Benedictine, who leads the conference in rebound margin, held a 40-27 edge on the glass, grabbing 15 on the offensive glass which led to 19 second-chance points
Hamilton was the lone player to reach double figures for Benedictine, finishing with 13 points
Jasma Williams scored nine off the bench

Ferry, Ryan, and DeKayla Crayton all scored eight points with Crayton reeling in nine boards
