1 – Nichols junior Taylor Daniels (Dudley, Mass.) – scored a game-high 16 points to go with six rebounds in 33 minutes
2 – WPI junior Priscilla Dunphy (Barrington, R.I.) – netted a team-high 12 points and also notched five rebounds, two assists, and one steal
3 – WPI sophomore Maura Buckley (Melrose, Mass.) – scored 10 points and grabbed one rebound
Dunphy scored 12 points and Buckley added 10 as the Engineers moved to 4-1 on the season with a 57-50 win over Nichols. Daniels led the Bison with a game-high 16 points on 7-of-13 from the field.

Turning Point
The Bison ripped off a 9-0 run in the fourth to cut their deficit to three (53-50) as sophomore Brooke Packard (Dudley, Mass.) banged a pair of three-pointers, followed by one from junior Brittany Donovan (Newport, R.I.). Junior Tesa Nogueira (Merrimac, Mass.) answered with a basket that put the Engineers up with five 1:16 to go, and Packard missed a jumper at the other end with 58 seconds left.
