Baruch Tops Mount Saint Mary on Senior Night

The Baruch College Bearcats celebrated Senior Night by defeating the Knights of Mount Saint Mary College, 65-39, in their regular-season finale on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats finish their regular season schedule with a 21-4 record and will next turn their attention to the CUNYAC Army ROTC Championship Tournament that gets underway on Saturday in the ARC Arena. The team will play CCNY in a quarterfinal round contest scheduled for 3:00 pm.

Prior to the game, the team honored
Francess Henry, Sheridan Taylor, Iyana Abramsand Alicea Ulmeron Senior Night.

The Bearcats took control from the opening tip and cruised to a 41-16 halftime advantage shooting 44 percent, while limiting the visiting Knights from the Skyline Conference to 28 percent shooting. That was enough to record the rout on Senior Night in front of family and friends.

Taylor led all scorers this evening with 21 points, which included 13 in the first half. Henry and Ulmer finished with 10 points each. Abrams notched six steals.
