Wooster, Ohio - DePauw held host Wooster without a field goal over the final 10 minutes of the first half while scoring 20 straight and coasted to a 72-38 North Coast Athletic Conference win.
The Tigers, ranked 10th in the Division III Coaches' Poll and 11th by D3hoops.com, improved to 16-1 overall and 9-0 in NCAC play with their 13th straight win, while the Fighting Scots dropped to 1-17 overall and 0-9 in the NCAC.
Wooster used a 9-2 run to take a 13-10 lead with 10:24 left in the first half, but from that point forward the Tigers took control.
Emma Ondik's jumper with 10:04 left in the half started a stretch of 20 straight DePauw points of which Ondik totaled 11.
The hosts tacked on a late free throw as DePauw held a 30-14 lead at the break.
Wooster was within 11 in the first five minutes of the second half before Hannah Douglas converted a three-point play and Claire Ryan scored a layup to push the lead to 43-27. The Fighting Scots trimmed it back to 12, but DePauw scored the next nine to end the threat. The Tigers again held Wooster without a field goal for a 10-minute stretch.
Ondik led all scorers with 14 abnd hit 4-of-8 three-pointers, while Savannah Trees and Douglas each scored 12. Abby Keller snagged a career-high 14 rebounds and Douglas dished out five assists.
Rachel Huxhold and Rachel Collins each scored eight for Wooster, while Paige Fabry hauled down eight rebounds and Huxhold handed out four assists.
DePauw shot 50.9 percent for the game to Wooster's 27.7 percent and the Tigers held a 39-28 edge on the boards.
The Tigers host Denison on Wednesday, January 28, at 6 p.m.
