Sewanee wins second straight; tops Welch 77-41

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 13, 2015) – Led by a career-high 18 points from freshman Rebekah Faulkner, the Sewanee women's basketball team earned a 77-41 win at Welch, Tuesday.

The Tigers are now 9-4 overall after winning their last two games.

Along with Faulkner, Jamie Chauvin finished with 16 points while Casey Hassett added 15. Additionally, seniorKayla Sewell pitched in 12 points while Hannah McCormack added eight points.

Savannah Rose also scored with six points while Haley Lyerly finished with two points.

Sewanee returns to Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play with a 1:00 (EST) contest at rival Centre, Saturday.
