WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FORWARD JADE VENSON RECORDS 1ST DOUBLE IN COLLEGE CAREER

Patchogue, NY- The Women's Basketball team fell to the Saint Joseph's College of Long Island Eagles 88-33 earlier tonight. The Eagles improve to 1-2 overall while the Cougars drop to 0-2 overall. 

Freshman Forward Jade Venson recorded a team high 17pts (5-15 FG-FGA and 7-11 FT-FTA). The Bronx, NY native grabbed a game high 10 rebounds (eight defensive). Venson added a steal. Sophomore Forward Kimonia Mullings recorded 11pts (4-11 FG-FGA and 3-5 FT-FTA). The Flushing, NY native carouled six rebounds. The Eagles were led by Jackie Zizzo with a game high 21pts. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Sunday November 23, 2014, when they host the College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins. This will be the Cougars 2014-15 home opener. Game time is 1:00  pm.
