(WAYNESBURG, Pa.) – Junior guard/forward Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone County (Ky.)) scored a season-high 42 points tonight (Wednesday, December 3, 2014) to lead the No. 2/3-ranked Thomas More College women's basketball team to an 89-68 win over Waynesburg University in both teams' Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

With the win, the Saints improve 5-0 overall and 1-0 in the PAC.  With the loss, the Yellow Jackets fall to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the PAC.

Moss just missed her third-straight double-double as she finished the game with nine rebounds.  Joining her in double-figure scoring was Cady with 14 points and Santamaria with 13 points.  Helping on the boards was senior guard Stephanie Krusling (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) with eight rebounds and Santamaria with seven.  Wainscott led the team in assists with six, while junior guard Olivia Huber (Woodlawn, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) led the team in steals with six.

Thomas More returns to action on Saturday (December 6) when it hosts Westminster College at 1 p.m. at the Connor Convocation Center.
