BALTIMORE, MD – The Lynchburg College women's basketball team picked up its first win of the season, downing Whittier College 79-39 on Sunday to conclude the Johns Hopkins Tip-Off Tournament.
Lynchburg got out to a quick 10-0 start, holding Whittier scoreless for the first eight minutes of play. Shannon Allan and Lauren Penley each contributed four points during the run.
