Brooklyn's Megan Campbell Named to All-Met Second Team

New York, NY --- The Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) has announced its 2013-2104 All-Met Team and Brooklyn College senior forward Megan Campbell has been named to the Second Team.
 
Campbell, a 2013-2014 City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) First Team All-Star and 2013-2014 D3hoops.com Women's Basketball All-Atlantic Region Third Team selection, made an immediate impact in her first season in Brooklyn, averaging 14.7 points-per-game, to go along with 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks-per-game. Campbell led the Bulldogs in scoring, rebounding, blocks and minutes played, while appearing in all 30 games on the season and making 28 starts. She also recorded seven double-doubles on the year.
 
The Tobyhanna, PA native played a key role in helping BC (22-8 Overall / 12-4 CUNYAC) secure its third straight 20-win season, its sixth straight appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Metro Championships and second straight runner-up finish in the ECAC Metro championships.
