(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Five Saints reached double-figures and the third-ranked and top-seeded Thomas More College women's basketball team forced 50 turnovers as it defeated Thiel College, 127-34, tonight (Tuesday, February 25, 2014) in the quarterfinal round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

With the win, the Saints remain undefeated at 26-0 and will play fifth-seeded Waynesburg University in the semifinals on Friday (February 28) at 7:30 p.m. at the Connor Convocation Center. Second-seeded Saint Vincent College will play third-seeded Washington & Jefferson College in the first semifinal game that night at 5:30 p.m. Thiel ends the season at 5-21.

Thomas More shot 55.8 percent from the field (24-of-43) and forced 32 Thiel turnovers in the first half to build a 63-12 lead at halftime. In the second half, the Saints out-scored Thiel, 64-22, to win the game, 127-34. Thomas More out-scored the Tomcats 54-20 in the paint and 65-4 on points off turnovers in the game.

The 127 points is a Thomas More single-game record and the 93 point margin of victory is also a Thomas More single-game record.

Sophomore guard Sydney Moss (St. Albans, W.Va./Boone Couny (Ky.)) recorded her 12th double-double of the season as she had a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes. Joining her in double-figure scoring was freshman guard Hannah Devine (Carrollton, Ky./Carroll County) with a career-high 16 points, junior forward Jenny Burgoyne (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) with 15 points, junior guard Sydni Wainscott (Erlanger, Ky./Simon Kenton) with 11 and sophomore guard Olivia Huber (Woodlawn, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) with 10. Senior guard Devin Beasley (Burlington, Ky./Conner) led the team in assists with six, while Huber led the team in steals with six.
