Tommie women hit 20 wins on season

Taylor Young had 16 points to lead five Tommies scoring in double figures in Wednesday night's 90-56 victory over Gustavus in MIAC women's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.

The No. 17-ranked Tommies (20-3 overall, 18-3 MIAC) hit 20 wins on the season and shot 60 percent from the floor. UST also recorded a 41-6 advantage in bench points and posted a 36-20 rebounding margin.

Jenna Dockter, playing just her second game of the season, scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Elaine Warner added 12 points off the bench. Maggie Weiers had 12 points, nine rebounds and seven steals. Katie Stone made four 3-pointers and finished with 12.

Lindsey Johnson and Karina Schroeder each scored 17 for the Gusties (13-11, 10-11).
