ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Centenary College women's basketball team dropped a pivotal Colonial States Athletic Conference game on Saturday, falling to Rosemont 74-63 at Alumnae Hall.

With the loss, Centenary (10-14, 8-7 CSAC) dropped a half game behind the Ravens (10-12, 8-6 CSAC) and Keystone for the sixth and final CSAC Tournament berth. The Cyclones remain alive for the sixth seed, but will need a victory at Marywood Wednesday (6:00 pm) and additional help.

Freshman forward Mallory George (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) produced a team-high 16 points, while senior guard Klarissa Perry (Englewood, N.J./Dwight Morrow) notched her fourth double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Freshman guard Jessie Sharr's (Belvidere, N.J./Belvidere) pair of free throws at the 11:40 mark gave Centenary a four-point edge, but that would be the Cyclones' last points for the next 6:20. The Ravens took advantage, scoring 16-straight points to grab a 26-14 lead.

Rosemont led by as many as 16 during the opening half before a free throw from freshman forward Kelsey Barofski (White Township, N.J./Belvidere) sent Centenary into halftime facing a 35-20 deficit.

Lauren Whalen canned a tripled midway through the second half as Rosemont's lead remained at 15; however, George sank six consecutive free throws and Perry added a layup during an 8-0 Centenary spurt, slicing the Raven lead to seven.

A three ball from Katherine Reppert halted the Cyclones' momentum and pushed Rosemont's lead back to double figures. The Ravens would lead by at least 10 points for the remainder of the game.

The Cyclones shot 41 percent (22-53) from the field, compared to 37 percent (23-62) for Rosemont, but were hurt by 22 turnovers.

Liz Coyne produced a 19-point, 16-rebound double-double to lead the Ravens, who held a slight 40-39 edge on the boards.
