A basket by Brea Boomer(Jr, Grand Portage, Minn.) and a three from Becca Smith(Fr, Victoria, Minn.) sandwiched around another Midtlien jumper cut the Eau Claire lead to 10-6 with just over 17 minutes remaining in the half.
