The women's basketball team defeated Medgar Evers, 81-22, in a CUNYAC home contest played on Friday night in the ARC Arena.

Every player on the roster played at least 10 minutes in the victory.

Lynda Fields scored a career-high 15 points.

Domyae Ivory-Byrd started and went on to contribute eight points and two steals.

Symone Green totaled 10 points and seven steals.  

Nia Tompkins led the visiting Cougars with 14 points, six rebounds and three steals.

The women's basketball team will return to action on Wednesday, January 22, with a 5:00 pm CUNYAC contest at Hunter College.
