Tough Shooting Night for Beavers in Loss to Redlands

More news about: Caltech

REDLANDS, CA -  After showing an offensive spark in each of their last two outings, Caltech couldn't carry that momentum into Thursday's contest against the University of Redlands as they fell 66-25.

After posting their first and third best scoring games of the season in their last two contests, Thursday proved to be a different story. Caltech went 10-for-47 (21.3 percent) from the floor against the SCIAC's top team. Conversely the Bulldogs connected on 42.6 percent (29-for-68) of their field goal attempts in producing the win.

The Bulldogs came into the game with the league's top scoring defense in addition to having the best field goal percentage defense.

Kristen Anderson had a team best eight points for the Beavers. Grace Leishman pulled down a Caltech best seven rebounds.

Redlands placed two players in double figures led by Brittany Oster's game high 14-point evening. Kameran Dage tallied an 11-point performance.
