UST raced to a 21-0 lead in the game's first 11 minutes. It used a 54-31 rebounding advantage as it won its seventh consecutive game. Kelly Brandenburg scored 12 points, Taylor Young added nine points and nine rebounds, and Anna Smith had nine points and eight rebounds.
St. Thomas went 5-0 in an 11-day stretch of December games, and held all five of those MIAC opponents to less than 60 points. The Toms lead 4-0 Bethel by one half game atop the MIAC standings.
After a break for finals and holidays, the Tommies resume their schedule Jan. 4 at home against Carleton.
