BATTLE OF LEXINGTON: Baruch Runs Past Mount St. Mary (67-38), Team 21-2

The Baruch College Bearcats defeated the Blue Knights from Mount St. Mary College, 67-38, in front of a boisterous "Battle of Lexington" crowd on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

With the result, the Bearcats improve to 21-2 overall, while the Blue Knights see their 10-game winning streak come to an end to fall to 15-8.

The Bearcats shot 50 percent (29-58) and outscored their opponent from the Skyline Conference by a 39-22 margin in the second half.

The visiting Blue Knights committed 28 turnovers that the Bearcats easily turned into 35 points on their end. Five different players on the Blue Knights had at least four turnovers.


Alicea Ulmerled the Bearcats this evening with 18 points (8-12 fg) and six rebounds. Iyana Abramshad one of her best games of this season with 17 points, five assists and six steals.

Francess Henry hit four 3-pointers to finish with 16 points.

Baruch will return to action on Friday, February 8, with a 5:00 pm CUNYAC contest at Lehman College in the Bronx.
