Taylor Young scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half as the visiting Tommies (16-5 overall, 14-4 MIAC) shot 60 percent from the field and pulled away for a 77-49 victory at Bethel in Monday's MIAC women's basketball play.
St. Thomas, which clinched one of six berths in the MIAC playoffs, outscored Bethel 43-18 in the second half. The Toms remain in a tied for third place, one game out of second place.
Jenna Dockter and Kelly Brandenburg each scored 12 points for UST, which used a 12-0 run midway through the second half to take control.
St. Thomas is home Wednesday to face Gustavus.
