Nucci Leads Quakers to 10th Consecutive Win

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- Jaclyn Nucci scored a game-high 17 points in the Quakers' 61-52 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win against visiting Lynchburg College.

Guilford (18-3, 11-1 ODAC) started the game with a 7-0 run. The Hornets battled throughout but were never able to take the lead.  Lynchburg came within one point with 3:29 to play in the first, but were quickly countered by a 7-0 run by the Quakers. Guilford led by as many as 14 with 11:29 to play in the game.

Kayla Adams and Gabby Oglesby contributed 12 points and six rebounds apiece. Morgan King grabbed a team-high 11 boards. Nucci had eight rebounds. On the opposite end of the court, Brittany Atwater dished out a game-high five assists.

Katie Reeves paced Lynchburg (12-8, 7-5 ODAC) with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Shannon Allan contributed 12 points and three assists. Lauren Penley snagged a game-high 13 rebounds.

The Quakers next play away at ODAC-foe Hollins University Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 7:00 p.m. They return home February 13 at 5:30 p.m. against league-opponent Emory & Henry College in the Ragan-Brown Field House.
