Despite shooting just 30.5% from the field, the Louisiana College Lady Wildcats were able to pull away from Centenary by a final score of 79-71 on Monday night in Shreveport, La.

Despite the disappointing night shooting night overall, the Lady Wildcats were able to knock down 12 3-pointers and dominate the glass by outrebounding the former American Southwest Conference member 70-58.

The rebounds were the key difference in the win for LC, as they grabbed 32 offensive rebounds to Centenary's 18, and had a season-high three players register double-doubles.

Natosha Gottlieb led the Lady Wildcats in scoring with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Kala Chenier (11 points, 12 rebounds) and Danisha Allison (11 points, 10 rebounds) also had double-doubles for LC.

The 8-point victory marks LC's final non-conference game of the season, as the Lady Wildcats (now 14-1 overall, 9-0 in ASC play) return to the H.O. West Fieldhouse on Thursday January 17 to defend their 43 game regular season home winning streak against Texas-Dallas.

Texas-Dallas comes to Pineville as one of the hottest teams in the ASC, as they moved into the "receiving votes" category of the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.
