More news about: Medaille

ITHACA, NY - The Medaille College women's basketball team fell for the second time in three days, this time it was a strong Ithaca College squad that cruised past the Lady Mavs (63-41) in non-conference road action.

In the latest WBCA rankings Ithaca was recognized as the 29th ranked team in the country.  Their talent showed as the Lady Mavs were unable to penetrate a Bomber defense that forced them into (18) turnovers on the night.  That same defense held Medaille to (27.3%) shooting from the floor overall and (16.7%) from beyond the arc.

Despite having nine of eleven players find their way onto the scoresheet, no single Medaille player was able to break free, as none reached double figures.  A pair of Lady Mavs tallied eight points on the night with Morgan Howe and Joelle Pollak each accomplishing that feat.  Junior Tara Caples led Medaille with (7) rebounds while Brittney Rowland netted (7) points and pulled down (5) boards in the loss.

The loss drops Medaille to (4-4) overall as they head into a huge AMCC match-up with rival Penn State-Behrend at home on Thursday (12/13) at 6:00pm in the Sullivan Center.
