St. Mary's City, Md. – Marymount University's women's basketball team remained perfect in Capital Athletic Conference play with a 61-54 win on the road at St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday afternoon.  The Saints move to 6-3 overall on the season and 2-0 in league play.

Coming out of halftime, SMC pushed its lead to 10 at 31-21 early in the frame before the Saints mounted their comeback.  Marymount used an 18-2 run over an eight minute span to retake the lead.  St. Mary's wouldn't regain the advantage the rest of the way while MU closed out the victory on the free throw line.

Joanna Murray led the Seahawks with 14 points while Sophie Pruden added 11.
