MENOMONIE (November 24, 2012) - UW-Stout overcame a nearly four minute dry spell late in the first half that saw their 19 point lead disappear into a 38-36 St. Scholastica halftime lead, only to come back in the second half to take a 90-79 win over the Saints Saturday at Johnson Fieldhouse in the Quality Inn and Suites Turkey Shootout.

The Blue Devils (2-2) used a tenacious defense to slow the Saints down after Scholastica went on a 17-2 run over the final 4-minutes, 2-seconds of the first half. The Blue Devils caused four turnovers in the first four minutes of the second half to take the lead.

Sami Schoeder (Jr, Durand) hit a jumper at 18:53 to pull Stout to within two points and Kayla Windt (Sr, Pence) drained a three-pointer at 18:19 to give Stout the lead, 41-40.
