WASHINGTON, D.C. – Gallaudet University women's basketball coach Brendan Stern changed up the starting line-up Sunday against SUNY Cobleskill in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest at the Field House but at the end of the day the result was the same for the Bison. The visiting Fighting Tigers led from start to finish en route to the 55-29 victory.
The Bison (3-12, 1-8 NEAC South Division) were led offensively by sophomore guard Joanna Rocha (Garden Grove, Calif.) as she scored seven points and had three rebounds. Freshman forward Arlene Ngalle (Washington, D.C.) had five points and a game-high nine rebounds off the bench as Gallaudet received 11 points from its five reserves. Freshman forward Elena Ciccarelli (Whitesboro, N.Y.) struggled from the field but finished with five points, eight rebounds and a team-high two assists and two steals. Freshman guard Bianca Richards-Hamilton (Mesa, Ariz.) added six points and six rebounds.
