PINEVILLE, LA - The Mississippi College women's basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 102-75 loss at Louisiana College on Monday night at the H.O. West Fieldhouse.
The Lady Wildcats (22-3, 18-2 ASC) made 17 three-pointers on their way to the victory. It was the seventh time this season LC has broke the 100-point mark.
The Lady Choctaws (16-9, 13-7 ASC) shot 47% (27-57) from the floor, but turned the ball over 31 times against the pressing defense of LC.
Junior Elizabeth Brooks led the way for MC with 14 points, while freshman Madelyn Cross had her second career double-double with 11 points and 10 boards off the bench.
The Lady Wildcats were led by Keana Frank with 20 points, going 4-5 from the three-point line. Four different LC players finished in double-figures as the team scored 37 points off of MC turnovers.
The Lady Choctaws will move onto the ASC Tournament on Friday where they will face McMurry University at 5:30 p.m. The tournament will be played at Louisiana College.
