Maroons Defeat Case to Clinch Share of UAA Title

CHICAGO -- With a 73-44 win over Case Western Reserve University Sunday at the Ratner Athletics Center, the second-ranked University of Chicago women's basketball team clinched at least a share of the 2012 University Athletic Association title.

  • After a first half in which the teams combined for 27 turnovers and a .348 field goal percentage, Chicago (22-0, 11-0 UAA) emerged with a 23-18 lead.
