RIVER FALLS (January 25, 2012) - Bethany Reyzer (Fr, Altoona) sliced her way to 18 points but it wouldn't be enough for UW-Stout as the Blue Devils dropped a 73-47 decision at 25th ranked UW-River Falls Wedneday at Karges Center.

Reyzer scored 15 points in the second half and finished with a collegiate-best 18 points, connecting on 7-of-13 from the floor and 4-of-9 from 3-point range.

But Stout (4-15, 0-10), still seeking that elusive first conference win, didn't have enough for the Falcons' (15-4, 7-3) multiple pronged attack.

The Falcons had four players in double digits, led by Alise Holst's 19 points. Nikki Guhr added 16 points, Maranda Dohrn racked up a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds and Jessie Van Whye came off the bench to score 10 points.

The Falcons started the game off on a 10-0 advantage over the first four minutes of the game. Reyzer put Stout on the board at 15:03 with a 3-pointer, her only first half points. River Falls got into a double-digit lead midway through the first period and never relinquished it in the half, carrying a 29-17 halftime lead.

Reyzer cut the lead to nine points early in the second half with her second 3-pointer of the night, but that would be as close as Stout would get the rest of the way.

Stout has the weekend off and returns to action, Wednesday, Feb. 1 when they host UW-Superior at 7 p.m.
